The challenge and my contribution
The "Materials" section already housed boards
and notes.
The task was to add files and link them
to classrooms and online boards.
I clarified the file handling rules with the team, designed the user flows and interface states,
and prepared the layouts for development.
One file, multiple
uses
The file is stored in the owner's cloud. Access to the original is added
to workspaces and boards: no duplicate copies are created,
and storage space is only counted once
Clear next steps defined
Filtering system
We added filters for author, file type and tags to make finding resources quick and easy.
Result
Designed the user flows, interfaces, and states for the section,
and prepared layouts for development.
The section is live: files are stored in the cloud, open
in workspaces and boards, and filters help find items quickly.
